Frequently asked
Can I add meat?+
Yes — salami or prosciutto curled on top turns it into the classic version.
No radicchio available?+
Endive, frisée, or simply more arugula all work — you want something with a little bitter edge.
Make-ahead strategy?+
Prep everything and store separately; assemble and dress within 15 minutes of serving.
